Provide administrative services and technical assistance to twenty-eight (28) chapters with two (2) staff positions at each chapter’s. LGSC provide chapters the opportunity to implement the Local Governance Act through development, adoption and implementation of the Five Management System that include accounting, personnel, property, procurement and records management policies and procedures.

Local Governance Support Center-Fort Defiance Agency is one of five (5) agency offices under the Division of Community Development and is located in Fort Defiance, Arizona. There are seven (7) permanent and regular status employees with a budget of $403,518 providing services to twenty-eight (28) Navajo Nation Chapter government.
